Jordan joined Asset Planning Services in 2018 as a Wealth Management Project Specialist for the Operations Team. Jordan is a summa cum laude graduate of Liberty University’s class of 2018, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Financial Planning.
At Liberty, Jordan undertook coursework in financial planning, taxation, risk management, estate planning, and investments. Jordan’s college curriculum at Liberty University was a Certified Financial Planner (“CFP”) Board-Registered Program, and his resulting coursework is accredited towards his progress of obtaining the CFP® designation. In addition to his college program, Jordan was APS’ 2017 summer intern, working with us in the Operations and Client Services departments. Prior to interning at APS, Jordan also interned at Corning Credit Union during the summers of 2015 and 2016 as a Client Service Representative. During his time at Liberty University, Jordan also volunteered at “Schools Out”, an afterschool program through Lynchburg, Virginia’s Parks and Recs department.
Jordan has since taken on additional roles as a Client Service Representative. Since joining APS, Jordan has passed the educational examination requirement on his progression towards obtaining the CFP® designation. He now needs to complete at least 6,000 hours of relatable experience prior to being able to use the CFP® mark, expected by mid-2021. Additionally, Jordan is also working towards obtaining the Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®) designation. Jordan, a native of Horseheads, NY, resides in Schwenksville, PA.
