Joseph Bates Earns Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) Professional Certification

Please join us as we congratulate Joseph for successfully passing the CFP® examination in July!  Passing the CFP® examination was the final step for Joseph to earn the right to be called a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professional.  CFP® certification requires years of study as well as years of experience to earn the right to use the CFP® mark.  We look forward to seeing Joe use his CFP® skillset to serve our clients.  With Joe’s accomplishment, APS now has 7 CFP® professionals on staff (including Kristen, who also recently passed the CFP® examination in July).

Joe started with APS as an intern in the summer of 2015, prior to his senior year at Messiah College. During that summer, he obtained the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ Certification. After graduating with a Business Administration degree at Messiah College in 2016, Joe was hired as a full-time employee at APS.  He works with the Client Service Team and with the Financial Planning team in preparing financial plans.  Now that he has less studying, he is looking forward to more date nights with his wife and backpacking trips with his friends.
