Jordan Shaw Passes Examination Requirement for Certified Financial Planner™ Professionals

Please join us as we congratulate Jordan for successfully passing the examination requirement on his journey to becoming a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professional.

To ultimately be awarded this designation, an individual must complete an instructor-led program of study, pass a certifying examination, and meet the work experience, ethics and continuing education requirements. The CFP® designation indicates a comprehensive understanding of financial topics, a high level of professionalism, and an adherence to strict ethical standards.

While Jordan has passed his examination and program-level study requirements, he is continuing to work towards meeting the CFP Board’s work experience requirements.  This typically requires individuals to obtain 4,000 to 6,000 hours of relatable experience prior to being able to use the CFP® mark or be referred to as a Certified Financial Planner™.   We continue to wish Jordan well in his on-going journey towards this designation!

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® (with plaque design) and CFP® (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
